Brompton’s sell in the region of 400 instruments a year. We offer three different ways of selling, each way directed towards the needs of the vendor. All too often when asking for a valuation from an auction house, a rough estimate is given and the instrument is entered for auction. Brompton’s are aware that different clients have different needs and where, for some, time is an issue, others may wish for their instrument to be sold quietly. The following three options are available to you. Interested In A Private Sale?Click Here for more information about buying and selling privately with Bromptons. |
Brompton's hold two sales a year at our London salerooms and attract buyers from around the world. Catalogues are sent out before the sale to vendors and potential buyers.
We take instruments for consignment periods varying from six months to over a year. Instruments can be shown to potential buyers and whilst the process may take longer than auctions, higher prices can be reached.
We are always prepared to buy instruments. This has the benefit of being easy and fast, although the prices that we are prepared to offer are usually less than a client would hope to receive at auction.
